Ben Kruger is a Clinical Research Assistant at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS) working with the National Guard. Ben graduated with honors from Case Western Reserve University in the Spring of 2023, earning his B.A. in psychology. For his undergraduate senior thesis, Ben presented a literature review on transcranial magnetic stimulation as a viable alternative to antidepressants for individuals with treatment-resistant depression. Before joining CSTS, Ben was a research assistant and coordinator in Dr. Norah Feeny’s PTSD treatment and research lab where he gained valuable research skills, furthering his passion for intervention-based research and trauma-informed care. Ben aims to continue his education and pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology.
