Katie currently serves as a Subject Matter Expert – Regional Behavioral Health Consultant for the National Guard Programs supported by the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress.
Prior to joining the CSTS team, Katie served as a Compliance and Training Analyst for National Guard Bureau Integrated Primary Prevention Program. Prior to that role, she served as the Executive Officer for the Senior Contracting Official, NGB Acquisitions.
Katie has served in various clinical roles in her 12 years as a social worker, including as a Director of Psychological Health and Clinical Case Manager with the North Carolina Army National Guard (NCNG). She also is a currently serving Behavioral Health Officer with 449th Combat Aviation Brigade, NCNG.
Katie received her Master of Social Work at the AMEDD Center and School, San Antonio, TX. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), Master Addiction Counselor (MAC), and Board Certified Diplomate (BCD) in Clinical Social Work. She has a total of 24 years of service in the National Guard and has two combat deployments.
In her free time, Katie enjoys playing golf, hiking, reading, cooking, gardening, listening to live music, and spending time with her family in North Carolina and Wisconsin.
