Dr. Sarah Maggio joins CSTS from the National Institutes of Health, where she served as a Program Officer for the Medications Development Branch of the Division of Treatment and Recovery at the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, and as a Scientific Program Manager at the Center for Alzheimer's and Related Dementias, an intramural research program within the National Institute on Aging and the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. Prior to working at NIH, Dr. Maggio worked for the Military Operational Medicine Research Program under the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command, where she managed Psychological Health & Resilience research portfolios. Dr. Maggio received her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology with a concentration in Behavioral Neuroscience and Psychopharmacology from the University of Kentucky, and her M.A. and B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington.
