Scott McRae

Scott received his MSW at the Catholic University of America in the Spring of 2018. He is currently in his final year at the University of Alabama, where he will graduate with a DSW in the Summer/Fall of 2025. He has worked primarily in the clinical social work field, specifically working with military service members and their families. He is interested in the re-integration of service members post-service, and the potential correlation between traumatic brain injuries, substance abuse and suicide.

Mr. McRae joins CSTS from the National Guard Bureau, where he worked as the Air National Guard Suicide Prevention Program Manager. In this capacity he built relationships with the leadership and mental health personnel at all Air National Guard Wings throughout the 54 states and territories, as well as shaping and implementing policies and procedures that impacted suicide prevention efforts for National Guard members

Scott served 21 years with the Infantry Branch of the U.S. Army and is currently married to an active duty Army service member. Together they have seven children and lots of pets.
