My Home Office
Financial and Legal Matters
Overview
Welcome to Your Home Office! The death of a loved one typically requires many decisions that can have a major impact on our lives. It can be hard for anyone to deal with important financial and legal questions, but these challenges can be even more difficult for those of us who are preoccupied with our grief. Not surprisingly, making good decisions can sometimes feel overwhelming. It is completely understandable that we can feel unprepared to deal with important decisions, especially if we relied on our deceased loved one to manage such decisions prior to their death.
In your Home Office, you will find resources to help you strategize how best to manage big decisions. Use the Self-Care Journey section to keep notes about your own experiences and how you would like to care for yourself through your grief journey.
